You da Bomb!

Hello, I have another Valentine to share today! This one was made using the Your Next Stamp 'Boom!' set and co-ordinating die. I also made this for the Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #6.

I coloured the image with copics and added some copics atyou spica to the flame part, then cut it out with the die.

The card base is black, with a layer of Recollections chevron paper and real red strips embossed with the Love Language embossing folder.

Happy Retirement!

I made this for my friend Sue. She retired from her day job in December, and she is my Stampin Up dealer...so I thought this would make a great retirement card. While it's sad to see Stampin up products retire, actually retiring and having more time to stamp is awesome!

I cased this card by Jackie Topa  I had all the punches I need, and I used scraps of paper for the pieces in the box.

I love doing punch art, it's amazing what you can make!

Angel Ornaments!

Hello, every year I make a Christmas ornament for our girls with the year on it.

This past December I made Angel Ornaments. I had seen several using the stamping up die, but I didn't have that, so I used the Die-namics jumbo bow die from MFT.

The body is White Shimmer cardstock, and it's embossed with the Textile embossing folder, one of my favorites for an elegant look!

Valentines to Share!

I have a couple new Valentine's Day cards to share with you. I love the top one, and that sentiment cracks me up! I used Stampin Up Cheerful Critters set, and the 'Be Mine' is from the Stampin Up You Plus Me set.

I coloured the image with copics. The card base is black, with a layer of dsp from the new Stacked With Set pad. I used the On Film Framelits die to make the photo frame in real red. The 'Be Mine' was stamped with black and I hand cut the flag points and the heart was made with the 3 heart punch and silver glimmer paper.
For the second card, I was actually inspired by Barbara Anders card here. But I had just received the new Stampin Up set 'You Plus Me' so I used it along with several other Stampin Up products.

The card base is black with a layer of with that I stamped with the French Script background stamp in Memento London Fog. The black with white polka dots is washi tape. I stamped the sentiment with versamark on real red and embossed with black embossing powder. Then I cut it out with a Heart die. The silver glimmer arrow was made with a sizzlet curves ahead die.

Our Baby is 15!!!!!

Hello, Our youngest Daughter Olivia turned 15 yesterday...where did the time go! She is a huge Johnny Depp fan and has been loving her Cosmo class in grade 9, so I looked for something to fit that theme! I found this image on etsy.com at The Octopode Factory...perfect!

I printed the image twice, and coloured with copics and a silver copic atyou spica pen. I cut out one whole image, and then just the head of the second image and popped it up.

I also made this for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS170.

The card base is black, with designer paper in certainly celery and crisp cantelope cardstock on the top embossed with the swiss dot embossing folder. I went with these colours because it reminded me of the pastel houses in the movie.

She loved it!

HMW - Bubble Bath Day!

Happy New Year, I hope you have a good one, and we should all remember to take time to relax and unwind to make it that much better! It's Humor Me Wednesday at Catch The Bug, and January 8th is Bubble Bath Day!

For my card today I used Ruby Bubble Trouble from Bugaboo Stamps. I printed the image 2 times on white cardstock and once on designer paper for the tub. The first image was cut out with an oval nestie. Then I cut out the tub and glued it down onto the oval. Then after colouring the second image, I cut out Rudy with the bubbles glued it onto the oval and then finally the wine and towel was cut out and glued down. Then I added stickles to the bubbles.

The card base is pool party with a layer of dsp in pink pirouette. The strip of pool party was embossed with the Decorative dots embossing folder. I punched out the sentiment with an oval punch and added it to the 3D banner from Your Next Stamp.

I also used this weeks Stella Says Sketch SSS301...there's still time for you to play!
