RILEY0913, Let's Recycle!

Hello, I made this for this weeks Riley and Company Challenge, hosted by Kelly! She's challenging us to use something recycled on your card or creation!

For my card I used one of the Funny Bones sentiments, Dear Karma.

My local stamping store has these cool animal print paper bags, so that's what I used as my recycled piece.

RILEY0813, Spring Flowers!

Hello, it's time for another fun challenge from Riley and Company! This week Cindy is challenging us to include spring flowers.

I used the Red Riding Moose from the Fairytale release. I guess these aren't really spring colours, other than the yellow, but flowers of any colours would be nice to see outside right now!

I coloured the image with copics, The card base is riding hood red. the dp is from My Minds Eye dilly dally. I used so saffron for the band across and embossed it with the lattice EF.

I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC182

Please join us in our challenge and upload your card to the Riley and Company Blog for your chance to win! If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY0813!

SSS135, Howdy Sheriff!

Hello, I made this for this weeks Stella Says Sketch challenge SSS135, on the Catch The Bug Blog. For my card, I used the AKV-Cowboy-Sheriff.

The card base is midnight muse, with a layer of lucky limeade that I embossed with my new Cricut Birch Tree EF.

I coloured the image with copics, and added some gold copic atyou spica pen to the star and silver to the pistols! The image was cut out with the petite oval nesties and popped up! The stars were made with a MS star punch.

You Quack Me Up!

Hello, I wanted to share this card I made for 2 different challenges. This is the new Lucky Duck set from There She Goes Stamps, it's a super cute set, with so many possiblities!

The TSG202 challenge is a colour challenge of yellow, blue and neutral. I used crumb cake, very vanilla and some dp from My minds eye that is similar to pool party.

The images have such fine lines, and it was super easy to stamp one on top of the other without having to use a stamp-a-ma-jig. I was going to use the sentiment 'What The Duck!' with this image, but decided to change it so it's more kid friendly!

I also used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch challenge FMS81.

RILEY0713, International Children's Book Day!

Hello, it's time for a Riley and Company Challenge! Today is International Children's Book Day and Hans Christian Anderson's birthday! So Frances is challenging us to get our inspiration from a Children's book this week!

When we were little, we always had Nursery Rhyme books and so did my kids, so I used Little Bo Sophie for my card today!

I coloured the image with copics. The card base is bashful blue, with a layer of white embossed with the swiss dot EF and the gingham on the bottom is from Recollections.

I used Spellbinders nested pennants for the fishtails, and finished it off with some twine.

The sketch is SSSC179.
