Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and got to spend time with family & friends!
I made this card using this weeks Freebie Friday and Bugaboo Stamps. This image is Whip Cream Cupcake. I had these papers on my desk from a previous card and thought it would be cool to make a birthday card for a December birthday with Christmas colours.
I coloured the image with copics and added dazzling diamonds glitter to the frosting. All the paper is from recollections except the white and the real red.
The white piece is embossed with the cupcake embossing folder and the green piece is embossed with the swiss dot embossing folder.
Hi Everyone, it is with a very heavy heart that I say this is my last challenge post as a member of the Riley and Company Design Team, and hopefully I don't regret this decision!
It is my turn to pick a challenge this week, and I chose a super easy one, Anything Goes! For my project today I used Elf Riley to make a tag for this treat jar. I thought this image was good because 1. he's so darn cute and 2. he's holding a candy cane which is part of my treat!
I coloured the image with copics, and used the oval nesties to cut him out, then added some Christmas ribbon.
I made this for my Sister. She's loves the peppermint kisses, and I found a recipe for Peppermint Bark puppy Chow on pinterest. Mine didn't turn out exactly like the pinterest photo, my chocolate started to burn so then I had to put it in a double boiler...wish I had started with that! Anyway it tastes good, so I hope she likes it.
Please join us in our challenge and upload your card or creation to the Riley and Company Blog. If You upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY2613.
Wishing You and your Families a Very Merry Christmas!
Hello, I made this for this weeks Riley and Company Challenge hosted by Jovita! She's challenging us to include snowflakes on your card or project!
I used Sledding Riley for my card this week, I coloured the image with copics and added some stickles. The card base is garden green with a layer of white embossed with snowflakes. I used dp from Echo Parks Holly Jolly Christmas pad for the fishtale strips. The main panel is popped up.
I was thrilled to be invited to be a Guest Designer for December at Crazy For Challenges and of course I said Yes! This weeks challenge is all about NOEL...your card or creation must include something that starts with these letters. Mine is as follows...
N - night of navy cardstock
O - oval nesties
E - embossing
L - lines (on the designer paper)
This is a Bugaboo Stamps image called Brats-winter snowman. I coloured it with copics and added stickles to the snow. I got the sentiment and die set at my local stamp store. It's from from Marianne Designs COL1325.
The card base is not quite navy, with a layer of soft sky embossed with a snowflake embossing folder. The designer paper is from My Minds Eye-sweater weather.
Please join us and upload your creation to the Crazy For Challenges Blog. If you upoad to any forums, please use the keyword C4C215.
This was pretty easy for me! All the cardstock is from Recollections. I coloured the image with copics. I used my new red & white Wink of Stella pens on the candy cane you can see in the photo below. They're really cool, just like a water brush but with sparkly colour!
I hope you can join in our challenge, you can find all the details on the Catch The Bug Blog, and then when you're done, make sure to upload your creation there for your chance to win some awesome prizes.
I coloured the image with copics, and added crystal effects to her glasses and the jello. The card base is rich razzleberry, with a layer of dp I had in my scrap bin. The image was cut out with petite oval nesties. I added a paper doiley and then cut the sentiment with a die-namic fishtale flag.
Pop on over to the Catch The Bug Blog and see what other Oldie but Goodies are being featured. It's nice to see an image you may have forgotten about, or maybe even one you've never seen!
Hello, it's time for a Riley and Company Challenge, and this one is brought to us by Michele. She's challenging us to make something using the Thank You theme, but it doesn't have to be fall! I made a box of cards, that can be given as a gift of Thanks!
I used Swinging Riley and coloured him with copics. I love this box for giving cards, it's finished six is 6" wide by 3" deep and the back is big enough to fit a 6" square card easily. You can find the box tutorial here.
I used some bazzill cardstock and found some designer paper in my scrap bin that matched pretty good! The branch is from the bird punch and at first I just had it there, but it needed something, so I added the little flowers.
Please join us in our challenge and make a Thank You card or Project. Then just upload it to the Riley and Company Blog, and if you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY2413.
Challenge #6 for our Kards For Kids group is Holiday in Spain...black & white inspiration. I was having trouble figuring out how to make a cute kids Christmas card with that theme, then my Daughter suggested a snowman, so this is what I came up with...had to add a touch of red, and orange for his nose!
Hello, it's challenge time at Riley and Company, and this week Joy is challenging us to Use A Sentiment! Super easy with all the great Funny Bones sentiments from Riley and Company.
I used a New Funny Bones sentiment 'Lick The Cupcake' (RWD-187). The card base is concord crush, with a layer of dp? and apricot appeal for the corner pieces.
I also used the sketch SC461. The first time I cut the square for the corners the corner tore!!! so I made another one and then cut it on the wrong angle!!! so I gave up at that point and flipped the sketch! lol
I'm also entering this in the C4C211 challenge 'Let's Frame It'
Please join us in our challenge and upload your creation to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the Keyword RILEY2313.
I coloured the image with copics and added some stickles. The card base is Handsome Hunter. I stopped in my local stamp store the other day and found this awesome embossing folder called 'I Believe!' from Crafters Companion so I used it on the white layer.
Make sure to stop by the Catch The Bug Blog to see more great inspiration from the Design Team.

I don't have any caroling stamps, so I was a little stumped at first as to what I was going to make! I had one of these reindeer made already on my desk, I'm making ornaments for my kids (I'll show you them later) and I thought this just might fit!
The card base is riding hood red, with a layer of white embossed with a music embossing folder. The dp is from Recollections Christmas pkg.
I coloured the image with copics and pulled colours from the dp, which is SU Spice Cake. The card base is early espresso, with a layer of dp. I used baja breeze for the strip and embossed is with the woodgrain embossing folder.
I also used this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch MOJO318.
Please join us in our challenge, and upload your Western Round Up themed card or project to the Catch The Bug Blog. You can also see more inspiration there from our Awesome Design Team!
Hello and Happy Friday! Look at this adorable Elf, he's the Freebie this week at Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured him with copics, and added stickles to the white parts of his hat.
The card base is handsome hunter, with a layer of real red and then silver cardstock from Recollections. I embossed the silver with the Snow Burst embossing folder. The dp is from an American Crafts Hollyday pad.

I coloured the image with copics. The card base is bashful blue with a layer of white then another layer of blue and white on the bottom. I ran the versamark pad along the edge of the snow drift and the bottom of the image oval then embossed them with iridescent ice.
The snowflakes are the punch out from a Martha Stewart edge punch. The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp. and I finished it with some silver cording.

Its New Release day over at Bugaboo Stamps, and this is one of the new images being released today. This is Fanny November. I coloured her with copics, and added some stickles.
The card base is black, with a layer of pink pirouette and then some designer paper from DCWV. I don't know if you can see it in the photo, but I embossed the black piece with the Seeing Spots embossing folder.
This weeks Riley and Company is brought to us by Kelly, and she's challenging us to make a spook-tacular card or project using a spooky, haunted, halloween theme. In addition also use orange on your creation somewhere, paper, ink etc!
For my card I used Mummy Riley. I coloured him with copics. I used a Freshly made sketch from a few weeks ago, FMS106.
The card base is black, with very vanilla stamped with the canvas background stamp in Tim Holtz antique linen and edges sponged.
The trees were made with a Marvy punch. and I sponged the center panel, the circle and the oval with pumpkin pie.

Hello, I hope all our Canadian friends had a great Thanksgiving! The Riley and Company challenge this week is from Frances, and she's challenging us to make a card or project without using designer paper.
It's Anything But A Card Day over at Catch The Bug! It's my first time doing the ABC project since starting on the Design Team, so I hope I don't disappoint! We've recently been trying to weed out some of our unused clutter by selling things locally online. So I decided to make a Faux Wallet to hold the cash we've been making! I love the Cow Humor images and the Cash Cow made me think of this idea!
I used the Wallet Tutorial here for the measurements to make the wallet, except I made mine 6" wide and 8 3/4" long. Instead of embossing I used this already embossed paper.
I coloured the image with copics, really just the cash and a bit of shadowing on the cow. Sorry I had trouble getting good photos!
I also made a belly band, it's a piece of silver cardstock 1.5" wide and 8.25" long. I attached the ends, overlapping 1" and then added the Cash Cow with dimensionals. I left the band fairly loose hoping my wallet will someday be filled! lol Wishful thinking, every time my Daughter needs money for school I have to dip into it.
It's time for a Riley and Company challenge, and this time Frances is challenging us to use buttons! I'm sorry, I was wanting to make a halloween card, and decided on the Pirate Riley, and just realized he is reitred so I apologize for that!
I coloured him with copics. and added gold atyou spica to his belt buckle.
The card base is black with a layer of crumb cake I distressed and sponged. I used riding hood red and embossed it with the Skeleton Scroll EF and then rubbed the basic grey ink pad over it. The designer papers are scraps from my scrap bin.
The button was made with a sizzlits die from gold metallic cardstock, I made two and glued them together so it's stronger and thicker.
Please join us in our challenge, and upload your creation using buttons to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY2013.
Our tour was sponsored by Your Next Stamp, and this is Ellie Loves Butterflies. One of the inspiration photos for this stop was from The Sound Of Music, so I used the green designer paper to look like the big grassy field you see Julie Andrews in.
Hello, the Kards For Kids Euro Tour has taken us to some really exciting places! These are my cards for Challenges #4 to #7. All these adorable images are from Your Next Stamp who are generously sponsoring our Virtual Tour!
Stop #4 is Scotland, and this is Ainsley from Scotland. She's coloured with copics, and I think my hair colouring is improving!
Stop #6 is a Tuscany Beach in Italy, and this is Picnic Ellie. I love the colours of the designer paper for this one!
And Stop #7 is Switzerland, looks like fun but I think I prefer the Beach! lol This is Ellie Loves To Ski! I should mention I also used last weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS104, but I was too late to enter it!
