MMTPT161, Ladybug, Ladybug...

Hello, this is my card for this weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT161! This week we are to bring ladybugs, lots of ladybugs!

This weeks Destination Station is Fort Lupton, Colorado to Julie (julesanne). Julie is a fellow teapotter, who just had extensive back surgery, so we are sending her well wishes this week!

The image I used is from Bugaboo Stamps, it was a freebie awhile back, which fits todays challenge perfectly!

I coloured the image with copics. Then I coloured an extra flower and popped it up.

The card base is real red, with a layer of white and a layer of garden green dp.

The main image is popped up, and I finished it off with some taffeta ribbon!

Have a great day!

TSMONDAY, Bookmark!

Hello, I hope everyone made it safely through hurricane Irene! It's time for another Totally Stampalicious Challenge! This weeks challenge is to make a bookmark...since there will be many books cracked open next week with the start of school here!

I used the new Fairytale Charlotte by Sylvia Zet! What a beautiful image, with such delicate lines, complete with 3 sentiments!

Please note that due to an error in the file we sent to our manufacturer, there is a spelling mistake on one sentiment on this stamp set therefore we are selling this set for a discounted price of $7.95. The images/sentiments still stamp perfectly!

I actually used the sentiment with the mistake on my bookmark today, it says 'your' instead on you're....I hadn't even noticed!

I coloured Charlotte with copics and added some shimmer with a gold copic atyou spica pen.

The base of the bookmark is metallic gold with a layer of blushing bride and then the white. The corners were notched with an EK punch.

I'm all out of gold jumbo eyelets, so I made one with cardstock! First I punch a hole with the largest hole on the crop-a-dile in the gold cardstock, and then I punched around it with a 1/2" circle punch! Makes a great inexpensive jumbo eyelet!

I finished it off with some ribbon and fibre!

Please join us in our challenge, just make a bookmark, any style, and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

Have a Great Day!

MMTPT160, Blue Bird!

Hello, this is my card for this weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT160! We were to bring birds, hearts & ribbon...I didn't realize til after it was done that it was blue ribbon...oh well, at least the bird is blue! lol

The Destination Station this week is to Barbara a friend of a fellow Teapotter's Mother who is facing another round of ovarian cancer.

I decided I wanted to use my 2-step bird punch and make a Blue Jay so I did a search in the Gallery at SCS and found this awesome post by AnnetteMac! So I did my best to case her blue jay!

The card base is blushing bride, with a layer of white embossed with the love language EF. The bird was punched out of white and coloured with copics. The beak & eye are black cs.

The branches are wild wasabi also made with the 2-step bird punch, and the flowers were made with the 3 flower punch. I first put liquid pearl in the center of the flowers, bu I can never get the peeks to go down, so I sprinkled on some dazzling diamonds glitter.

Have a Great Day!

MMTPT157, Bouncy Hello!

Hello, this is my card for this weeks Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT157! This weeks Destination Station is to someone on the list of the Hugs and Hope for Sick Kids!
We are to bring happy upbeat cards in green, blue and yellow! Well when I read that, I immediately thought of Bouncy Ball Riley! He's definitely Happy and Upbeat!

I cased myself with the layout to save time. I coloured Riley with copics, matted with daffodil delight and popped them up.

TSMONDAY, Frozen Treat Time!

Hello & Happy Monday, I just want to thank everyone who stopped by during the Totally Stampalicious Blog Hop last week, I love hearing what you think and appreciate the time you take to pop by and comment!

The list of Blog Hop winners can be found here on the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

This week we're challenging you to include a frozen treat on your card or project. I used one of the new Poppi Penguins. I stamped him and coloured him with copics.

I realized while flipping through my papers that this paper from Basic Greys Life of the party has little ice cream and popsicles all over it, so I started there to pick my colours.

Please join us in our challenge and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog! All Guest Designers are chosen from the challenge participants!

Have a Great Day!
