Our Baby is 15!!!!!

Hello, Our youngest Daughter Olivia turned 15 yesterday...where did the time go! She is a huge Johnny Depp fan and has been loving her Cosmo class in grade 9, so I looked for something to fit that theme! I found this image on etsy.com at The Octopode Factory...perfect!

I printed the image twice, and coloured with copics and a silver copic atyou spica pen. I cut out one whole image, and then just the head of the second image and popped it up.

I also made this for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS170.

The card base is black, with designer paper in certainly celery and crisp cantelope cardstock on the top embossed with the swiss dot embossing folder. I went with these colours because it reminded me of the pastel houses in the movie.

She loved it!

HMW - Bubble Bath Day!

Happy New Year, I hope you have a good one, and we should all remember to take time to relax and unwind to make it that much better! It's Humor Me Wednesday at Catch The Bug, and January 8th is Bubble Bath Day!

For my card today I used Ruby Bubble Trouble from Bugaboo Stamps. I printed the image 2 times on white cardstock and once on designer paper for the tub. The first image was cut out with an oval nestie. Then I cut out the tub and glued it down onto the oval. Then after colouring the second image, I cut out Rudy with the bubbles glued it onto the oval and then finally the wine and towel was cut out and glued down. Then I added stickles to the bubbles.

The card base is pool party with a layer of dsp in pink pirouette. The strip of pool party was embossed with the Decorative dots embossing folder. I punched out the sentiment with an oval punch and added it to the 3D banner from Your Next Stamp.

I also used this weeks Stella Says Sketch SSS301...there's still time for you to play!

OBG, Snowman Treat Jar with Tag!

Hello, it`s Oldie But Goodie Day at Catch The Bug, and today I`m showing you a Snowman Treat Jar with tag I made for Christmas. The tag is Christmas Tag - Snowman from Bugaboo Stamps, you can see a close-up below. I coloured the tag with copics and added stickles to the berries and the snow. The tag was cut out and backed with black cardstock.

I got this idea from pinterest. It`s a nice inexpensive treat jar, would make a great Teacher gift. All you need is a mason jar, some felt and buttons (I bought both the felt & buttons at the $ store). I filled it with yogurt covered pretzels and added my tag!
Quick and Easy, which is what we need right now with the Christmas rush on!

HMW, Bake Cookies Day!

December 18th is Bake Cookies Day, so today I`m using Dotti - Cookie Tray from Bugaboo Stamps. She`s perfect for this time of year with all the cookie baking going on, but the great thing about this image is she would work for any occasion!

I coloured Dotti with copics, and added tiny gems for earrings, then cut her out. The card base is wild wasabi with a layer of designer paper from Recollections-sugar plum pad matted with white.

I embossed the crumb cake piece with the love language embossing folder, and the little strip of striped paper was from my scrap bin.

Then I used my marvy star punch and SU itty bitty tree punch to make some cookies! I added designs to the cookies with copics atyou spica markers and a sharpie pen in white.

I also used the Saturday Sketch Challenge 340
